Business ArtThe following four pieces of business art are just a few samples of what can be done! Your company logo or the theme of your business can be designed in pottery to represent you and intrigue your customers in lobbies and boardrooms or grace the halls of your business. Large installations like those shown can also be a focal point over a cooktop or a fireplace in you home. I hope these samples provoke some great ideas that we can work together on to make your special piece a real show stopper! Give me a quick call and we can get going! Heron in TriptychThis 3D stoneware piece graces the entrance to a Psychiatry Office. The single heron and soothing colors give a sense of calm while the 3 fish swimming under the surface adds a whimsical touch. As in most of my work, an organic landscape sets the tone. The finished piece is approximately 56"x30" in size and hangs on any wall with standard hangers. Heron in the RoundThis earthenware piece is 30" in diameter and was done using a soft pastel technique. It depicts a single heron fishing. The antiqued look and muted colors of the pastels emphasize the 3D pieces that stand away from the base. Pampass grass was added to soften the presentation. Coulee Region Eagle TriptychDone in a red earthenware with bold colors, the eagle, farmland and four seasons of the La Crosse area are depicted in this piece, displayed prominently over the mantle of a stone fireplace in a local senior housing complex. The bluffs and Mississippi River dominate our region, and the trees in this piece tell the real tale of the changes in these seasons. The hand carved Arts and Crafts style uses a color pallette that compliments the stone on which it is displayed. 4 Seasons in the BoardroomFour earthenware panels, each 20"x36", grace the boardroom of a local accounting firm. The many windows of the boardroom show the change of the seasons, as do the four panels of this piece. Snow and curled leaves, spring blooms, summer dragonflys and the bounding deer in the leaves bring color and motion into the room. This eye-catching piece serves as the main focus of the boardroom! |
