This whimsical carved cylinder depicts a hungry heron with a fish and gold and black trees repeating around it's 6" width. A great serving piece that is both functional and beautiful! Four whimsical bees fly around the rim of this footed bowl that measures 10"x2". This piece is dishwasher safe and oven and microwave too! Curly handles repeat the flight pattern of the bees illustrated in the middle of the bowl. Dripping skies add that fantastic blue sparkle glaze that I often repeat because it is just a great accent against the red clay. For the true collector, this stoneware vase has beautiful color, plenty of movement from top to bottom with undulating top rim and base, and will be a real show stopper! The leaves, grapes and beautiful "Mistress of the Grape Harvest" are built out and compliment the carving that is seen throughout the piece. The trees seem to dance around the 6" vase and hills set a background that creates a happy scene. This 12" tall vase is hand carved and hand built and has small built out "seeds" in the lower area. This design repeats itself around the vase several times and the red clay allows a true saturation of color! $150
